Well, to my surprise, I found this old article that says that a dedicated bus lane from Lexington to Nicholasville has been suggested.
While they're at it, they need a dedicated bus lane on Nicholasville Rd. going ALL THE WAY DOWNTOWN. What good is riding the bus, if it is stuck in traffic just like you are in a car?
We'll watch this and hopefully provide updates for the next Small Area Plan meetings on this.

i browsed the article. i take it that lextran is the name of the bus service? from the read it seems more than a few developers had made approaches concerning the land. sounds like money might end up getting in the way. as usual.
